I think we all hate to see stuff like this go down. I mean, how the hell does a band like Cynic end up being support for a bunch of tools like Dragonforce? Daath too for that matter. Last year on the Rockstar Energy Mayhem tour Mastodon went on before Dragonforce. I thought that was kind of crappy, but it did give me time to go down to catch Machine Head’s set while DF played. Some people say Dragonforce only got big because of Guitar Hero. I don’t think that’s the case at all, but I do think that may have helped them a little bit. I just don’t get it. Sounds too 1987 midi-video gamish for me. Yeah, I know that’s been said a million times too. Below are the dates for this odd concert. I don’t mean to be such a cynic and I’ll try to keep it to a minimum around here, but these guys drive me nuts.
